High quality, eco friendly and safe ingredients are of the utmost importance to Batty's Bath! We don't sell anything that we don't use ourselves - we like to be pampered and what you to be too! Citrus Acid
Derived from natural citrus fruits, this fine granular is a common ingredient in Bath Bombs as well as used to adjust pH of products. Baking Soda - Sodium Bicarbonate A soft, white powder traditionally known for its use in baking but commonly used in the personal care industry for the production of Bath Bombs and other bath products. Cocoa Butter Cocoa Butter is a very hard saturated fat pressed from cocoa beans which lays a protective layer on top of skin, which holds in moisture while softening and lubricating the skin Chamomile Extract One of the most popular extracts in premium skin care lines, Chamomile is used for its soothing effects and its anti-inflammatory properties. It also has antiseptic properties and can be used for topical applications. Cetyl Alcohol Cetyl Alcohol is an emollient and emulsion stabilizer used widely in cosmetics to help hold fats and oils in creams and lotions. Used in hair conditioners for detangling, building body, wet comb etc. Vegetable Derived Beeswax Beeswax is a natural wax produced in the bee hive of honey bees. A natural emulsifier and texturizer in lotions, soaps, lip balms, etc. French Green Clay A premium cosmetic clay from France. Excellent detoxifying clay, French Green Clay absorbs and removes impurities from the skin, stimulating blood flow to create healthy and glowing skin. Rhassoul Clay Rhassoul Clay is used world-wide in Spa treatments for detoxification & rejuvination. Mined deep beneath the Atlas Mountains in Eastern Morocco, it is rich in magnesium, Silica, potassium and calcium. Used for over 1400 years in skin and hair care products, Rhassoul Clay is known to reduce dryness and flakiness and improves skin clarity and elasticity. Apricot Shells Finely ground from the seeds of apricots used for exfoliating, helping remove dead skin cells and leaving your skin soft and smooth. Grapefruit Seed Extract Citricidal Grapefruit Seed Extract is derived from the seeds and membrane of organically grown grapefruit. Grapefruit Seed Extract contains natural antibacterial, antimicrobial, & antifungal properties which can be used as an effective preservative in a wide range of personal care products but is not on its own a full spectrum preservative. Witch Hazel Witch Hazel Distillate is a medicinal tincture created from the leaves, flowers and bark of the hamamelis tree, also known as Witch Hazel Shrub. Witch Hazel has wonderful astringent properties due to the high levels of natural tannins found within it. These natural astringent properties help to tone the skin, removing excess dirt and oil and tightening the pores. Witch hazel also contains procyanadins, resin, and flavonoids, all of which add to its soothing, anti-inflammatory properties. Coconut Oil Coconut Oil is a gentle, light, moisturizing properties that won't clog pores. Vitamin E Vitamin E is renowned for its regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties and benefits to maintaining healthy skin. Studies show that the human body prefers Natural Sourced Vitamin E to Synthetic forms and that natural sourced is 100% more effective than synthetic forms. Vitamin E help reduce the appearance of stretch marks, help to prevent the appearance of age spots and minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles and help against the effects of damaging UV. Benhentrimonium Methosulfate This is the mildest hair-detangling ingredient available. It's made from non-genetically modified rapeseed oil and is renowned for it's superior detangling abilities without causing build-up on the hair. Benhentrimonium Methosulfate is not a sulfate and is so mild it's recommended for use in baby products. Shea Oil This oil is a liquid Shea Butter extracted from the fruit of the Shea tree in Africa. It has been used for hundreds of years as an excellent emollient and as an agent in skin healing and protection. Shea butter has been shown to have a positive effect on collagen regeneration and anti-inflammatory effects, while showing strong absorbency of UV radiation. Palm Kernel Oil A Solid Oil derived from the African Palm Tree, it makes a soap which is white, hard and lathers beautifully in all types of water. It is quickly becoming one of the dominant oils in modern soap making. Also used in massage melts and other body care products. Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (and) Carotenoids This is a natural botanical source of vitamin A for the skin without all the risks of pure vitamin A. Pure vitamin A (Retinol) is known for its high irritation potential plus increasing skin's sensitivity to the sun. Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides (and) Carotenoids provides topical skin protection, clarification, and moisturizing benefits. Carotenoids are anti-oxidants that stop free radicals. You'll find Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (and) Carotenoids in our lip balm and scrubs. |
